I lived above Madison liquors at 5619 Lake st. From 1965 to 1970. A family named Melendez lived above the tavern next door to the liquor store.
My wife lived at 5617 which is longer there. She worked at Meyer drugs at 5601 and also Balo Cleaners at 5609. Thanks for the memories.
