Loved this tribute to my mom, Carmelita Pope. I’ll share it with her, and I know she’ll enjoy it. To clear up the mystery–Clarissa Pope was Carmelita’s sister. Both went to the Goodman Theater, but after Clarissa married James Mancuso, who later own a larger Chevy dealership in the Chicago area, she gave up acting.
