Great view. I can see where the little store use to be. Wasn’t there two stores? One for girls and one for boys?
that’s something i would not know.
I recall both stores – the one on Keeler was owned and operated by John Healey – the one on WestEnd was run by George Abbott. As for one being for boys and the other for girls I don’t think that was the case, for I frequented them both. Rusty Hart,
Yes right across the street from the school
I remember the candy store across the street from the side of Tilton. Was that Karlov and the little store next to Tilton. I would buy candy there before school. It also sold food as well I remember the red coke cooler to buy pop. I went to Tilton from 1955 to 1958
